How H2BApply uses Google user data

Last updated: September 2026

The only scope we request

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send

That's it. We never request gmail.readonly, gmail.modify, gmail.metadata, gmail.insert, gmail.compose, or mail.google.com.

What we do with it

H2BApply helps Brazilian workers apply to U.S. seasonal jobs (H-2B/H-2A visas) publicly listed by the U.S. Department of Labor. The user writes their own application e-mail (subject and body) and attaches their own resume. When the user clicks "Send" — manually, one job at a time, or through a queue they start and can pause/stop at any time — the app sends that exact e-mail from the user's own Gmail account to the employer the user selected.

What we never do

✅ We do not read your inbox.
✅ We do not store the content of your e-mails.
✅ We do not access, search, or export any message you didn't send through the app.
✅ We do not use Gmail data for advertising.
✅ We do not sell Google user data, ever.
✅ No human reads your data, except with your explicit consent or as required for security/fraud investigation, as permitted by Google's policy.

Limited Use compliance

H2BApply's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoke access anytime

You can revoke H2BApply's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting your H2BApply account (available in-app, or via /delete-account) also revokes the underlying Google grant automatically.
