Carnival Concession Worker

Job Duties: Perform a variety of attending duties at amusement facility (traveling concessions). prepare daily food items and beverages. Typical carnival foods such as corn dogs, french fries, fried veggies, onion rings etc., sandwiches and various other fried foods using proper safety precautions and sanitary measures. Set up- stock/clean and ready for service, tear down- pack up stock and close down booth, attend and maintain equipment, heavy lifting& physically mobile to operate food concessions. Maintain and clean the commissary and facilities related to the concessions. no experience or education required. On the job training provided. Employer is an outdoor traveling concession provider with travel required from event location to event location. Employer makes available transportation from venue to venue at no charge to the worker. Travel required and provided to work in the following counties: Mercer, Darke, Miami, Marion, Auglaize, Wood, Montgomery, Allen, Hancock, Hardin, and Wyandot, OH and Jay, IN. Housing and transportation to/from each event location offered to all employees under this job order. Pay varies based on location of each worksite, $13.25 - $15.13 an hour. No overtime offered. However, if any, it will be paid at the rate of $19.88 - $22.70 per hr. when required by federal, state, or local law at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per workweek.
