Concrete Finisher

Duties may include: Under supervision of supervisor/crew leaders: Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards. Smooth or finish freshly poured cement or concrete, using floats, trowels, screeds, or powered cement finishing tools. Use: floats, trowels, screeds, or powered cement finishing tools. Spray materials, such as water, sand, steam, vinyl, paint, or stucco, through hoses to clean, coat, or seal surfaces. Position, join, align, or seal structural components, such as concrete wall sections or pipes. According to project plans and supervisor: load, unload, and identify: building materials, machinery, and tools, to then distribute to the appropriate locations. Perform site activities required of green certified construction practices, such as implementing waste management procedures, identifying materials for reuse, or installing erosion or sedimentation control mechanisms & other related activities as per SOC/OES 47-2051 (onetonline.org). Standard/Expected Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00AM-7:00PM. Offering 40+ (plus) hours per week; not including applicable lunch and/or breaks. Possible weekend/holiday work. Start/end times, offered hours and/or overtime could vary as they may be dependent upon other factors such as project/schedule/service needs, weather, and commute time between worksites (if applicable).
