Bin Laborer

Duties may include: Assist skilled assembly workers in the building, installation, and disassembly of grain bins by performing routine tasks such as cleaning work site, staging materials, holding or positioning parts, tools, and equipment. Follow verbal instructions to prepare parts for assembly, checks for defects, and ensure materials are placed accordingly. Align and fit prefabricated components, bolting and securing sections under supervision, and rotating through basic support functions as needed. Signal coworkers for movement of prefabricated components and maintain steady workflow across the work site. Assist with lifting and moving prefabricated components. Use hand tools and equipment including brooms, cordless drills, hoists, ladders, measuring tapes, pallet jacks, shovels, and wrenches. Maintain cleanliness of tools and equipment, perform basic lubrication when directed, wear proper personal protective equipment at all times & other related Bin Laborer activities as per SOC/OES 51-2099 (onetonline.org). Standard/Expected Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-6:00PM. Offering 50+ (plus) hours per week; not including applicable lunch and/or breaks. Possible weekend/holiday work. Start/end times, offered hours and/or overtime could vary as they may be dependent upon other factors such as project/schedule/service needs, weather, and commute time between worksites (if applicable).
