Swimming Pool Servicer

Duties may include: Tasks include opening and closing commercial swimming pools. Perform small repairs on pool and equipment through the season. Start and winterize system. Opening tasks: Remove and store pool cover. Start pool filter. Start pool pumps. Take out pool furniture and umbrellas and place them on the pool deck. Place skimmer baskets in skimmers. Turn on the chlorinator. Place safety pool signs in the pool area according to instructions. Place portable Lifeguard chairs around the pool according to instructions. Organize Cleaning Equipment. Secure Pool ladders and rails. Closing tasks: Put the pool cover on. Winterize pool filters. Turn off pool pump. Store pool furniture, umbrellas, pool signs and lifeguard chairs. Turn off chlorinator. Possible small repairs: Replace skimmer baskets, skimmer weir. Replace chlorinator tubes. Replace pressure gauge on filter. Replace pump strainer baskets & other related Swimming Pool Servicer activities as per SOC/OES 49-9071 (onetonline.org). Standard/Expected Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:00PM. Offering 40+ (plus) hours per week; not including applicable lunch and/or breaks. Possible weekend/holiday work. Start/end times, offered hours and/or overtime could vary as they may be dependent upon other factors such as project/schedule/service needs, weather, and commute time between worksites (if applicable).
