Housekeeping

The Housekeeping personnel is responsible for keeping storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy. Carrying linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts. Load linen and towels into and remove from washing machine, load linen and towels into and remove from Dryers, cleaning rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, elevators, stairways, breakfast areas, pool area and other work areas so that health standards are met. Emptying wastebaskets, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. Sweeping floors, using brooms, mops. Replenishing supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items. Vacuuming rugs, carpets, and dusting furniture. Sanitizing equipment and supplies. Move and arrange furniture and turn mattresses. Answer telephones and doorbells. Replace light bulbs. Deliver ironing boards, baby cribs, and rollaway beds to guests' rooms. Remove debris from driveways, garages, and swimming pool areas. Observing necessary precautions required to protect guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors. Sorting, counting, and marking clean linens and store them in linen closets. Washing dishes and cleaning kitchens, cooking utensils, and silverware. Must greet guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing.
