Housekeeping

Duties: Keeping storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy. Carrying linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts. Cleaning rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, elevators, stairways, and other work areas and ensure that health standards are met. Emptying wastebaskets, cleaning ashtrays, and transporting other trash and waste to disposal areas. Sweeping floors, using brooms, mops. Replenishing supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items. Vacuuming rugs, carpets, and dusting furniture. Sanitizing equipment and supplies. Observing necessary precautions required to protect guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors. Sorting, counting, and marking clean linens and store them in linen closets.
