** Prepare jobsite for tree work Assist in pruning or removing of trees. Help run ropes and rigging operations to safely dismantle trees. Help process tree debris (ie chipping brush) Help rake and cleanup jobsite Drive trucks back to shop at end of day. (driving is not a requirement of workers in this position) Equipment to set up is a tracked aerial lift. The set up included unloading the lift from the transport tuck, driving the tracked lift to the tree, and deploying the outriggers to level the machine. Other equipment that needs to be set up on a jobsite is the chipper. Set up of the chipper includes aligning it with the chip truck and greasing all of the bearings before use each day. On any given day an employee will help with preparing a tree jobsite. This includes the following: -Establish a safe work area/perimeter. -Prepare the chainsaws and ropes for the tree work. ** Maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: trimming, raking, clean up of limbs and leaves, shredding of larger tree branches, set up of equipment. Entry level requires supervision.
