Golf Groundskeeper

Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Mow, cut, trim/edge, lay sod, water grounds/turf and flower beds; clean up, weed, plant, spread seed, fertilizer, and mulch; rake, grade, blow leaves, dig, prune, core aerating, planting and transplanting, seeding and sodding, of all golf course grounds turf. Change hole cups, place tee markers, pins and hazard stakes, fill/repair divots, maintain sand in bunkers. Use a hand shovel to dig holes (up to 24 inches depth and 36 inches in width) for installing plants, trees, shrubs, or irrigation systems; works on the ground to prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges using shears, pruners, or chain saws; core aerating; sprinkler installation/repair, installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning. Gather and remove litter. The employer will offer a minimum of 35 hours of work per week. Open 7 days a week. 5-day work schedule varies Sunday through Saturday. Shift times vary, including 5am-12:30pm, 6am-1:30pm, 7am-2:30pm. Shifts include 30 minutes unpaid break time. Other 7-hour day shift times possible/may be required. Workdays, hours, and shift times may vary with weather and occupancy.
