Groundskeeper

Duties may include: Care for established lawns by mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, aerating, weeding, removing thatch, litter, leaves and debris. Follow planned landscaping designs for installation of trees, shrubs, foliage, sod, flowers and sprinkler systems. Haul or spread topsoil or spread straw over seeded soil to hold soil in place. Water lawns, trees, or plants, using hoses, portable sprinkler systems, or watering cans. Prune or trim trees, shrubs, foliage and deadhead flowers. Spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto trees, shrubs, foliage or lawns using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders. Maintain and adjust residential and commercial sprinkler systems. Provide proper upkeep of flower beds, planters, sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, and other grounds or water features. Maintain or repair tools, equipment, or structures, such as buildings, greenhouses, or fences, using hand or power tools. Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows or pruning shears and pruning saws. May operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as small tractors, work trucks with small utility trailers, mowers, trimmers, edgers, leaf blowers & other related Groundskeeper activities as per SOC/OES 37-3011 (onetonline.org). Standard/Expected Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM. Offering 40+ (plus) hours per week; not including applicable lunch and/or breaks. Possible weekend/holiday work.
