Housekeeper

Duties: The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning guest rooms, balconies, making beds, replenishing linens, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and public areas such as hallways lobbies, lounges, restrooms, elevators, stairways and breakfast areas; Replenishing supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items. Vacuuming rugs, carpets, sweeping floors and dusting furniture. Sanitizing equipment and supplies. Observing necessary precautions required to protect guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors. Sorting, counting, and marking clean linens and store them in linen closets; keeping storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy. Carrying linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts. Greeting guests that they encounter with a friendly smile; Emptying wastebaskets and transporting other trash and waste to disposal areas. Load linen and towels into and remove from washing machine, load linen and towels into and remove from dryers. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing. Must be flexible, communicate effectively, speak and understand English, be a team player.
