Kitchen Service Worker

SUMMARY Assists and performs general kitchen duties to support food preparation and meal service in a restaurant environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Cleans food preparation areas and cooking services, takes out trash and replaces trash bags. Washes, dries, and puts away all dishes, drinkware, cookware, cutlery, and utensils. Cleans, stocks and restocks workstations, dining room displays, table condiments and other supplies as needed. Receives and unloads by hand deliveries of food, beverages, and supplies. Assists with food preparation by washing, cutting, peeling, slicing, pre-cooking, and/or packaging foods designated for cooking. Assists wait staff when needed by setting up, clearing, and cleaning up tables. Abide by customary sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
