Lifeguard

Lifeguards will be responsible for monitoring recreational areas such as indoor/outdoor pools, providing assistance and protection to participants, watching for potential safety hazards and reacting to them, assisting pool manager with opening/closing of pools, cleaning of locker rooms, weight room, racquetball courts, and pool area on an as needed basis, and bartending (mixing and serving drinks) at the indoor pool complex. Lifeguards may need to lift and carry up to or more than fifty (50) pounds. Lifeguards must be able to swim 200 yards (any stroke) and tread water for one (1) minute. Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 10:00am – 5:00pm, 11:00am – 6:00pm, or 3:00pm – 10:00pm. Shift hours may vary. See attached job description for additional information.
