LANDSCAPER

** All installation duties listed are performed as routine landscaping and grounds maintenance labor consistent with SOC 37-3011 (Landscaping and Groundskeeping Workers) and do not involve skilled construction, structural assembly, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, or electrical work. All work is performed at ground level using manual labor and common landscaping tools under supervision, as Landscaping and Groundskeeping Workers. ** Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Performs a variety of task, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, pruning, fertilizing, digging, raking, and instillation of sprinklers, retaining walls, walkways, and water features using (mortarless) interlocking concrete masonry blocks. The job will require the worker to: gather and remove litter; use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes; powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, chainsaws, electric clippers, sod cutters, pruning saws, or rototillers; water lawns, trees, or plants, using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans; prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws; spray or spread commercial fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, or trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders; care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch, or trim
