Mulching, pruning, mowing grass, shrub and tree planting, weeding flowerbeds, straw matting, may operate vehicles, installation of mortarless segmental concrete block walls, digging and raking by hand using shovel. Install erosion and sediment control devices by rolling out and staking silt fence and filter sock; installing straw wattles, erosion control blankets, and turf reinforcement mats; and constructing check dams, diversion berms, and slope breaks using appropriate materials. Silt preparation and restoration by assisting with soil grading, rough raking, and fine grading; applying hydroseed, seed, straw mulch, or tackifier per specifications; and planting shrubs, grasses, or trees for long-term stabilization. Material handling such as loading and unloading materials including seed, mulch, straw, stakes, and erosion control products. Safely operate hand tools, landscape tools, and some light equipment (shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, leaf blowers, power augers, etc.). Inspection and maintenance by repairing damaged erosion control devices (e.g., replace torn silt fence or disturbed sock) and performing general site cleanup and sediment removal
