*2nd RFI Response Most mobile amusement rides are designed to be assembled and disassembled in hours with manual labor and simple tools, such as screwdrivers, pliers, rubber mallets, a variety of wrenches and ratchets. When heavy lifting is required, rides would have built in hydraulics for raising and lowering platforms, etc., so that additional equipment is not required. Once ride is positioned by a supervisor, workers would unload by hand, the various parts of the ride that must be assembled. Platforms and centerpieces would be positioned using the built-in hydraulic lifts and winches. Support bars and passenger conveyances would be positioned, and attached as per manufacturer instructions. Safety fence and signage, would be downloaded by hand and placed into position by hand.
