COMMERCIAL TRUCK DRIVER

JOB DUTIES: All driver job duties are compensable and are common to the commercial truck driving industry. Drivers are to only accept dispatch orders that come directly from the employer and must contact the employer immediately after both the loading and unloading of each order. Drivers are to notify the employer prior to fueling their tractor-trailer at a retail fuel station. Drivers are to notify the employer prior to their personal usage of the tractor-trailer. Drivers will have no assistant. Drivers will have no passengers other than as directed by the employer. As is common in the industry, drivers will have great discretion regarding daily time management as the driver operates within the daily time parameters of their job duties directed by the employer, thus, not all hours that a driver is in their truck and off-worksite is compensable to the driver. The employer will provide the driver with means of securing their tractor-trailer while off-site and the driver must secure their loaded or unloaded tractor-trailer prior to and during the time when the driver is not performing job duties, therefore, the driver is not responsible for the tractor-trailer or the loaded product when not performing job duties. Compensable job duties include driving a tractor-trailer semi-truck from product pickup locations directly to delivery locations, including engaged-to-wait, timely and safely on public and interstate highways while adhering to all applicable laws and regulations pertai
