Fast Food & Counter Worker

Duties may include: Serve food, beverages, and/or desserts to customers at festivals and fairs, such as, corndogs, hotdogs, cotton candy, fried cheese curds, and popcorn. Use kitchen utensils to serve food items, such as, tongs, spatulas, and scoops. Under direct supervision of Cooks, use fryers and/or grills to prepare corndogs. Take orders from customers, accept payment, and make change as necessary. Prep, clean, stock, and maintain serving and work areas & other related Fast Food & Counter Worker activities as per SOC/OES 35-3023 (onetonline.org). Standard/Expected Schedule: Monday - Sunday 10:00AM-12:00AM. Offering 40+ (plus) hours per week; not including applicable lunch and/or breaks. Shifts may vary based on business demands, open 7 days a week (Monday-Sunday). Possible weekend/holiday work. Start/end times, offered hours and/or overtime could vary as they may be dependent upon other factors such as project/schedule/service needs, weather, and commute time between worksites (if applicable). Overtime possible, but not required or guaranteed. At Employer’s sole discretion: possible raises and/or bonuses based on individual factors such as work performance or skill (not guaranteed). Optional, shared housing available at no cost to the worker.
