Construction Laborer

** Temporary Construction Laborers will assist in site preparation and demolition activities required for outdoor construction and landscaping projects. Specific tasks include: • Removing existing non-structural elements, such as old fencing, decking, small retaining walls, concrete curbs, and walkways. • Breaking up concrete, asphalt, or compacted soil as needed for new construction. • Clearing debris, vegetation, and loose materials to maintain a safe and organized work area. • Operating and maintaining basic tools and light equipment such as manual pavement breakers (e.g., Bosch 11330K), hand tampers, sledgehammers, crowbars, shovels, and rakes. Workers perform routine cleaning, minor maintenance, and inspections to ensure tools remain in safe operating conditions. "Care for” means routine post-use cleaning, removing soil or debris from equipment and performing simple visual inspections, and properly storing tools. These duties support construction of patios, pathways, retaining walls, and other outdoor landscaping features, ensuring the site is prepared for installation, and project schedules are maintained.
