Electrician Helper

Job Summary The Electrical Laborer will perform manual labor tasks to assist electricians in electrical conduit installation, cable pulling, and related electrical infrastructure work under the direction of licensed electricians or supervisors at construction sites. Essential Job Duties Site Preparation and Material Handling: The worker will load, unload, and transport tools, conduit, cable reels, and electrical materials to and from work sites. The worker will prepare work areas by clearing debris and ensuring safe access. The worker will set up ladders and scaffolding as directed under direct supervision. The worker will stage materials at designated locations, organize jobsite storage, and assist in unloading delivery trucks. Conduit Installation Support: Under direct supervision, the worker will measure, cut, and assist in bending electrical conduit, including EMT, PVC, and flexible conduit, per layout specifications. The worker will assist with installing conduit runs overhead, underground, and within walls, following the electrician's instructions. The worker will assist electricians with installing and securing conduit using straps, hangers, supports, and fasteners per NEC requirements. The worker will assist with installing conduit, threading conduit sections, and coupling conduit sections. The worker will assist with installing junction boxes, pull boxes, and conduit fittings.
