Groundskeeper

To be responsible for the daily inspection and overall upkeep and maintenance of hotel building and grounds; clean & care for buildings, facilities, and exterior of property to ensure they are maintained in a safe, clean and neat condition; perform a range of landscaping operations that may include using garden and landscaping equipment for mowing, painting, pruning, trimming, installation of plant material, care of flowers and bedding plants; repair damaged grounds areas; notify management of any repairs needed (lighting, public areas, parking lot, etc.); spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, and trees; assist with performing minor electrical and mechanical repairs; empty all common area waste baskets and keep receptacles clean; attend safety meetings & other related meetings; respond to guest requests and questions and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction; be responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property. 1 year of prior landscaping/groundskeeping work is required. Ability to operate various types of power equipment including lawnmowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, and other landscaping equipment; ability to use hand tools including rake, tamper, shovel, spade, shears, wheelbarrow, and other landscaping hand tools required for landscaping; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time; must be able to work in a variety of we
