Food Service Workers

** Ice Cream: cones, cups, sundaes & milk shakes. Restaurant: soft drinks, specialty coffees, deli sandwiches, deli wraps, meat & cheese plates, tossed salads, pizza and fried foods. Candy and Bakery: packaging pralines, bulk candy, fudge, icing cakes, baking cookies and brownies. Fulfill food orders by building and placing toppings and garnishes on salads, sandwiches, ice cream and pizzas with possible final heating to finish. Fulfill food orders by filling soup cups, candy bags, beverage cups that may require extra steps of mixing ingredients for fulfill specialty drinks as well. Work may be performed in a commercial kitchen using microwaves, fryers, measuring utensils, knives and kitchen utensils. Take guests orders at a service counter and collect items to fulfill order and possibly collect funds owed. Set up dining area or service counters for the start of business and maintain during business hours. May include clearing and sanitizing dining room tables and counter areas for on an as need basis, sweeping and mopping floors, arranging dining room chairs and tables settings such as condiments or tabletop displays. Basic cleaning tools such as broom, mop, towels and cleaning solutions. Monitor the amount of food and paper goods prepared for service. Notify appropriate people when supplies are low. Fulfill orders by either delivering or bagging product once it is ready. Some preparation may require scooping or heating food items such as ice cream, coffee or sandwiches on
