Bicycle Repairers

Inspect, repair, and maintain rental bicycles to ensure safe and efficient operation. Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs including adjusting, replacing, or aligning brakes, gears, chains, tires, and other components. Assemble new bicycles and perform pre-ride safety checks before rentals. Clean, lubricate, and tune bicycles regularly to maintain fleet quality. Keep records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts used. Assist with organizing and storing bicycles, tools, and supplies in the workshop. Occasionally interact with customers to address mechanical issues or explain basic maintenance and safe operation. Work independently or with shop staff to support the daily operation of a seasonal bicycle rental business on an island. 8:00AM – 3:00 PM. 35-40 hours per week. Employees will work 5- 6 days/wk but days of the week will vary weekly. Possible overtime. Employees must be able to commit to entire period of need. Will train. Wage Range with tips included from $19.65 - $24.00 based upon performance at employers discretion. Possible bonuses based upon performance at employer's discretion.
