Front Desk Agent

Greet, register, assign rooms, and issue room keys to incoming guests during check-in process. Manage guest bookings and make, cancel, and change reservations. Maintain current information and answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, guest registration, and travel directions. Assist with transporting luggage to guest rooms. Review daily and prospective business; anticipate and work with the manager to address guest and business needs. Coordinate communication between departments to fulfill guest needs. Monitor the hotel front entrance and help resolve any congested situations. Review communication logs to answer guest requests are resolved timely. Monitor, verify and bill no-shows. Resolve over bookings, incorrect payments, billing disputes, and other guest-related concerns. Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure room readiness and cleanliness. Review requests for late check-out. Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas. Log and provide assistance with guest reports of lost/stolen articles. Use computer software to manage internal tasks and guest communications.
