Landscape Foreman

Oversee and direct landscaping crew members on job sites to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects. Read and interpret landscape plans, blueprints, and project specifications. Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, skid steers, and other machinery. Perform and supervise installation of hardscapes (pavers, retaining walls), softscapes (planting, mulching, sodding), and irrigation systems. Communicate project updates and potential issues to management and clients. Negotiate and review contracts to ascertain service, machine, and project requirements; answer inquiries from potential customers regarding tree care and landscaping services, methods, material, and price ranges; and prepare estimates according to labor, material, and machine costs. Establish and enforce operating procedures and work standards that will ensure adequate performance and personnel safety. Schedule work for crews, depending on work priorities, crew or equipment availability, or weather conditions. Monitor project activities to ensure that instructions are followed, deadlines are met, and schedules are maintained.
