Groundskeeper / Landscaping Laborer

Maintain campground and waterpark grounds, landscaping, and outdoor facilities to ensure a safe and appealing environment. Mow, edge, trim, weed, and mulch landscaped areas. Operate lawn and landscaping equipment (string trimmers, blowers, mowers). Plant flowers/trees, apply fertilizer, pull weeds, and remove debris or trash. Assist with irrigation system setup and maintenance. Pressure wash walkways, picnic areas, and building exteriors. Set up outdoor event spaces (tables, chairs, canopies, etc.) as needed. Report repairs or hazards to maintenance supervisors. May perform other job duties pursuant to 37-3011, Landscaping and Groundskeeping Workers. F.a.5a-F.a.6b: 35+ hours/week. 8-10-hour shifts between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm. 6 days per week, Sun-Sat. May work evenings, weekends, holidays, as needed. Schedule (including workdays) may vary. May work more than the guaranteed hours. May work overtime. OT varies. F.b.8c: Position is exempt from overtime pay. F.b.8a: Workers will be paid no less than the wage listed. Employer may pay higher wage rates to workers based on seniority with employer and level of skill. Overtime hours may vary. F.b.8a: Depending on work conditions, the employer may offer workers performing certain tasks during certain periods of the season an opportunity to earn an incentive bonus over and above the guaranteed rate of pay set forth above.
