Responsible for applying paint, stain, and coatings to various surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish. The role involves both interior and exterior work on industrial properties. Key responsibilities include: - Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, scrape, and fill cracks or holes to smooth surfaces. Cover fixtures and surrounding areas to prevent paint damage. - Paint Application: Mix and apply paint or other coatings and finishes with the use of brushes, rollers, sprayers, or other tools. - Set up blast pot and nozzle equipment. - Basic Project Management: Ensure sound and fiscally responsible use of materials related to costs and project timelines, monitor material use, conduct inventory, apprise foreman/leadman of supply and job site needs, and maintain clean, organized job sites. - Safety Compliance: Follow regulatory requirements and all safety regulations. - Equipment Maintenance: Maintain the proper functioning of brushes, rollers, sprayers, and other painting tools.
