Team Assembler

Performs one or more repetitive jobs on an assembly table and/or line to produce wooden roof and floor trusses used in residential, agricultural, and light commercial buildings. Assemble precut pieces of material in a set pattern. Position and fasten specified connectors over connecting joints using hand tools and equipment including a hammer, staple gun, bander, and tape measure. Press assembled trusses if needed; splice, nail, stack, label, band and prepare finished trusses for delivery. Maintain work area and keep it clean. Other related duties as assigned. Minimum 40 hours per week. Work schedule may vary, normal 5-day schedule Monday – Thursday from 3:30pm – 1:00am with 30-minute unpaid meal break. Friday from 12:00pm – 4:00pm with no meal break. Alternate work schedule: Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 3:30pm with 30-minute unpaid meal break. Friday from 6:00am-10:00am with no meal break. Work days and shift time may vary due to customer demand. 21.64 per hour Employer reserves the option to provide additional compensation for performance and tenure or may increase wages based on changes in market conditions. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per workweek. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at 32.46 per hour based on locality the work is performed and the base rate of pay offered per hour.
