Maintenance Helper

Maintenance Helper – Eight (8) temporary full-time positions available from 10/01/2026 to 01/31/2027 in Thibodaux, Louisiana with Lafourche Sugars, LLC. Help installation, maintenance, and repair workers in maintenance, parts replacement, and repair of industrial equipment used in the processing of raw sugar. Perform duties such as furnishing tools, materials, and supplies to other more experienced workers. Cleaning work area, machines, and tools, and holding materials or tools for other more experienced workers during the harvesting season. $18.37/Hour; $27.55/Hour OT paid every 2 weeks by check. Will be required to work rotating 8-hour shifts including (6am-2pm; 2pm-10pm; 10pm -6am); 56 hrs a week during harvest season, 40 hrs a week after harvest season, OT paid after 48 hours during harvesting and after 40 hours after harvesting. Must be willing to work 7 days per week during grinding/harvesting. Overtime Hours will vary and are not guaranteed. The employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law. Worker will have 30 minutes paid lunch break during the workday. A minimum of 3 months experience is required in the job offered with sugar mill equipment. No minimum education is required.
