Evaporator Operator

Evaporator Operators – Three (3) temporary full-time positions available from 10/01/2026 to 01/31/2027 in New Iberia, Louisiana with Cajun Sugar Company, LLC. To operate the evaporator station efficiently and keep the desired brix of syrup. Responsible for maintaining the juice pH to value in the evaporator while manufacturing raw sugar. $24.29/Hour; $36.44/Hour OT (paid every 2 weeks by check). Will be required to work rotating 8-hour shifts including 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m.–3:00 a.m., and 3:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m. 56 hrs a week during harvest season, 40 hrs a week after harvest season, overtime paid after 48 hours during harvesting and after 40 hours after harvesting. Must be willing to work 7 days per week. Overtime Hours will vary and are not guaranteed. The employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law. Worker will have 30 minutes paid lunch break during the workday. A minimum of 3 months experience is required in the job offered. No minimum education is required. No on-the-job training is provided. Optional on-site lodging offered to each temporary seasonal employee hired in the position at no charge.
