Food & Beverage Supervisor

** The role of Captain is a lead-level Wait Staff position that supports Wait Staff, supervisors, and managers by assisting with Wait Staff-type tasks such as taking orders, serving food, taking reservations, and printing menus. In addition, Captains also assist with training and supervise the Wait Staff employees in absence of the Food & Beverage Supervisor and Food & Beverage Manager. The additional details about the Food & Beverage Supervisor’s responsibilities as they relate to supervising Captains are to supervise, train, and mentor team members, ensuring adherence to service standards, policies, and procedures; assisting with scheduling, timekeeping, and daily staff assignments to ensure proper coverage and efficiency; and helping conduct preshift meetings to communicate daily priorities, service expectations, and special events.
