Grounds Maintenance Worker

Rake, aerate, dethatch, perform general lawn maintenance, perennial cutbacks, leaf collection, backpack blowing, snow preparation of maintenance client properties by marking areas where walkways and driveways exist in 6 foot increments to designate pathways so that snow equipment does not destroy landscaping and vegetation, installation of property markers for snow removal using hammers, stakes, maps, and shovels, and other tasks related to fall cleanup/snow removal preparation, including using backpack blowers, rakes, shovels, and wheelbarrows and/or carts to remove piled up leaves and other debris from properties so they do not clog up or impede the machinery used for snow removal equipment. May perform other job duties pursuant to 37-3011, Landscaping and Groundskeeping Workers. F.a.5a-F.a.6b: 35 hours/week. 8-hour shifts between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm. 5 days per week, Mon-Fri. May work evenings, weekends, holidays, as needed. Schedule (including workdays) may vary. May work more than the guaranteed hours. May work overtime. OT varies.
