Instruct and assist children in developing healthy personal habits, such as eating and personal hygiene. Model appropriate social behaviors and foster empathy to support the development of interpersonal and communication skills. Supervise age-appropriate chores and positively reinforce target behaviors to build self-control, self-confidence, and a sense of responsibility. Remove potential hazards and establish appropriate boundaries and household rules to ensure a safe environment. Administer first aid when necessary. Observe children's behavior for signs of illness or irregularities, take temperatures, and administer medication as directed to support their health and wellbeing. Perform housekeeping and cleaning tasks related to the children's care. Encourage good behavior while playing with household pets and involving the children in pet-related activities.
