General Laborer

** Workers will assist skilled trades by carrying, moving, positioning, staging, and organizing materials, tools, and supplies needed for ongoing construction projects. Workers may hold materials in place while skilled workers perform their tasks, transport tools and equipment throughout the job site, unload and distribute deliveries, maintain clear and safe work areas, remove debris, and perform cleanup activities before, during, and after construction operations. Workers may also assist with preparing work areas by clearing snow and ice, maintaining access routes, organizing material storage areas, and ensuring materials and equipment are readily available to skilled workers. All duties are performed under supervision and are labor-related in nature, requiring no specialized skills, certification, or licensing. Tools and equipment used may include snow shovels, ice chippers, snow blowers, brooms, rakes, wheelbarrows, hand trucks, dollies, pallet jacks, utility knives, pry bars, hammers, drills, and other basic hand and power tools used for site maintenance, cleanup, snow removal, and material handling. Materials handled may include snow, ice, salt, sand, de-icing products, construction supplies, pallets, tools, equipment, and non-hazardous debris.
