Server Assistant

Duties: Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting. Promptly and consistently reset all service ware as prescribed. Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments. Wipe down booths and chairs, move tables and chairs, and clean floors as necessary. Serve guests with beverages, breads and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary. Assist server with food & beverage service to ensure guest satisfaction. Assist servers by running plated food from the kitchen to the guest’s table in a timely and organized manner. Ensure that each guest receives the correct dish, as ordered, and that food is presented neatly. Communicate with the kitchen and servers to coordinate timing of food delivery. Provide guests with additional items upon request, such as condiments, utensils, napkins, or drink refills, to enhance satisfaction. Monitor guest tables to anticipate needs, such as removing used dishes between courses or replenishing water glasses. Assist with guest inquiries in a professional and courteous manner, or promptly direct them to a server if further assistance is needed. Support the server in ensuring all components of the meal (appetizers, main courses, side items, drinks) are delivered smoothly and without delays.
