Landscaping and Groundskeeping Workers

The general Landscape Laborers will landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment, including lawnmower (walk behind and rider), trimmer, edger, backpack blower, wheel barrel, broom, rake, shovel, spade. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks which may include a combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, digging, aerating, seedings, weeding, mulching and raking. Laborers will also undertake snow and ice removal using the same equipment used for landscaping work. Laborers would also process tree trunks into company-defined bundles of firewood, complete with branded wrapping and labeling. Once processed, the Laborers would use company vehicles to deliver the bundled firewood. GVWR varies from dually to non-dually for the pickup trucks, but the range is 11k - 14k. The skids are used in the initial phase of transport and the holding mechanism to allow the Laborers to use chainsaws and break down the larger logs and to raise the bundled logs higher off the ground for organized loading into the trucks/trailers for transport.
